Printing, Laminating & Storage

Here's my simple routine for turning a download into an activity we can pull out and play again and again.

A little prep. A whole lot of play.

Here's how I prepare each activity for my kids and keep it ready for another day. My supply list below includes the exact 5 × 7 photo boxes I use.

1

3D print the pieces

I start by 3D printing the pieces from the download in the colors I want for the activity.

2

Print, laminate & cut

I print the activity cards on cardstock—double-sided for pattern cards and single-sided for shape and matching cards. I cover them with self-laminating sheets, then cut them out.

3

Use the included label

Every download includes a label template. I print and laminate the label, then add it to the box so each activity is easy to find.

4

Play, then pack away

Once everything is ready, we play! When we're finished, I store the pieces and cards together in a labeled 5 × 7 photo box, ready for next time.
